We’ve got personal trainers for everything, it seems. At very least (or most?) many of us relish our yoga instructors and our tax accountants. But, how do you relish your relationship?
By the time I meet clients, they’re sorting out fairly worrisome dilemmas. Not being quite sure where they and their relationship went sideways, we retrace unseen innocent missteps.
So, when a new app came to my attention that focuses on healthy relationships and how to keep them that way, even boost them, I thought Wow, where you’ve been all my life fun uber app?
The app is RELISH, and in the beta stage, it is still free. So, take advantage. It’s way more affordable than, uh, a therapist. Wink, wink.
I’ve been using the app myself to be sure its content is scientifically sound, and not a GQ or Glamour magazine spin-off. It’s not. In fact, by all definitions, it is smart quality. And, bonus, the texts you get are funny, not clunky psycho-babble.
Plus, the blogs are quick three-minute reads, chock full of practical how-to’s. Take for instance, The Science Behind Holding Hands by journalist Kase Wickman or how about Find The Funnies In Each Day by Teddi Ginsberg, which tickles an earlier post I wrote, only both Teddi and Kase serve up tips better than the best icy margaritas you’ve ever sipped with girlfriends!
